Pumpkin Zing Smoothie
This is the perfect smoothie for Thanksgiving Day, either as an appetizer or dessert…better than pumpkin pie! As you’re sipping this refreshing treat, remember all of your blessings.

- 1 cup pumpkin (fresh or canned)
- 1 banana (fresh or frozen)
- 1 apple (unpeeled, but de-cored)
- 1 cup vanilla almond milk
- ½ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon sweetener of your choice
- 1 drop of peppermint essential oil (Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade, ingestible. This is the “ZING” part of the smoothie, so if you leave it out, your smoothie will be less zing-y!)
Blend until smooth, top with cream if desired, and garnish with a sprig of fresh mint. Enjoy!
